The last item to be unloaded from the truck was Gavin's Royal Enfield motobike!!

And now, for the first time in nearly three years, we have all our belongings in one place - at least we think we do!!

I am glad to find your blog, not least the reason for which I am happy to find English - though I truly love French, speak several languages (and my French is poor) and in fact I absolutely love Paris. Madly.

It {La France} is arguably the best place in the world... but my travels and work take me alas elsewhere.

The pictures and your commentary are worth more than the proverbial thousand words for they take one there visually for a respite or a visit. Well done.

Well if I were in Europe this spring I would just have to ask f I could drop by and ask if you needed a free helping hand for a day or two. (And you complained about not getting something done there... what? What's the hurry?! It is a daily celebration, a moment by moment excursion in beauty, isn't it?)

I will just have to stay here and write - and enjoy visiting the clean open belle-French countryside via your pictures.
