We took the morning off yesterday - it was Sunday after all!! And went to this plant sale at an Arboretum nearby. I think there is no doubt that the Arboretum itself will be well worth a visit at some future time. But for now we managed to buy quite a number of good plants for the garden. In fact this is the last entry for today in this blog as I am off out into the sunshine again to plants the rest of yesterday's purchases!!

Hi Laurie, I love reading about your and Gavin's adventures. I check your blog several times a month to see your progress. Love that your hens laid eggs for you so soon. Maybe someday Chuck and I will make it to your side of the world and see all your hard work in person.
Keep up the good work. Stella Wheat
Hi Folks
We love looking at the photos on your blog. You have done loads since we were there last, can't wait to see it. We are coming over 2nd and 3rd weeks in August,Daniel and I are counting down the days! and wishing that we were there now as it is school half term and we could be there, Michelle is in the middle of her GCSE's at the moment and that is the reason we are not. Can we buy some of your fresh eggs for our breakfast one morning please? how cool is it having fresh eggs from your own chickens! weather looks fantastic in your photos, hope it is still like that in August. Let me have a shopping list nearer the time and we will bring over any English items you need like tea bags and biscuits etc.
Best of luck with the rest of your hard work take care and see you soon
With love from Helen Andy Michelle and Daniel x x
